Our Story
The roots of Mountainside Immigration Services lie in community.
Andrea Dunne has been working with the multicultural communities of Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton since 2011 in a variety of capacities, as a volunteer, Settlement Worker and Multicultural Outreach Support Worker in the anti-violence sector.
Andrea found she was inspired to find out more about Canadian immigration through the experiences shared by her clients who were in the process of becoming permanent residents - each person seemed to have an individual experience to a seemingly broad process. Andrea chose to study immigration law to better understand how to support her clients.
Early in 2019, Andrea passed the ICCRC Entry-To-Practice Exam at first attempt in order to become a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant. This designation allows Andrea to take her services to the next level, to confidently advise clients, strategize and fully advocate for clients in Canadian immigration matters.
Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant
Andrea Dunne BA, RCIC
Andrea Dunne is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant based in Squamish, BC.
Andrea first came to Canada as an IEC participant in 2010, intending to spend a winter season in Whistler, BC. Like many people who are captivated by the beautiful Sea to Sky, Andrea decided 1 year simply wasn't enough and pursued permanent residence. That was the start of an interesting journey in immigration for her, which ultimately led her to becoming an RCIC as well as a Canadian Citizen.
Andrea holds a Diploma in Immigration Consulting from Ashton College and graduated with Honours in 2015, and proudly passed the ICCRC Entry-To-Practice Exam in February 2019.
When Andrea is not assembling immigration files, she can be found enjoying all the outdoor recreation Squamish has to offer with her family.
